The inaugural symposium on Brain & Mind Research in the Asia/Pacific (BMAP) was held 13 - 16 August, 2006 at the Brain & Mind Research Institute, University of Sydney. Click here for a copy of the programme.

During this inaugural symposium, the first Steering Committee meeting was convened. It was at this meeting that the Brain & Mind Research in the Asia/Pacific (BMAP) organisation was formally established. The goal of BMAP is to establish joint research funding for the promotion of brain and mind research in the Asia Pacific Region. It was further agreed that a meeting will be organised every two years and hosted by a steering committee organisation.

We are pleased to announce that the future of this organisation has been secured through the commitment of participating APRU universities to host future symposia. The schedule is as follows:
